Follow the Money – 2009 Mayoral Election

584:

With the Mayoral election heating up, I decided to go through the financial documents for both candidates to see where their funding is coming from. It is always both very interesting and very revealing to follow the money. You can pass your own judgment on how these contributions should figure into the decision on who to vote for in November. These were matched either by name, address or by searching corporate info through www.sunbiz.org. Most information is available through a simple ‘Google’ search, including client lists, employees, and more. This information may include slight inaccuracies (both positively and negatively for each candidate), but it was compiled through extensive research. There are many more developers I did not include, and this list is in no way complete.

  1. I know how long this took you…great job. Re: Perricone’s are you sure that wasn’t an expense? The expenses and contributions were not differentiated well.
